Top Selling Porsche 912's are Breaking the $100,000 Ceiling
Air Brigade forecast that the 1968 Porsche 912 Emory Outlaw Build on Bring a Trailer would set a new record for Porsche 912’s which it did at $110,000 that with the 5% buyers fee makes the selling price $115,500. The previous top-selling Porsche 912 was sold at the Gooding & Company Scottsdale 2017 auction for $114,400. This price included the Gooding fees.
Air Brigade was right about forecasting this Porsche 912 as setting a new price record, but was off in its projected selling price. Based on Emory Outlaw Porsche 356 pricing the thought was the Emory Build would drive this 912 up to $150,000. Commenters on Bring a Trailer seemed to agree:
ELK94: “Well bought – a bargain for an Emory...”
Condorlini: “Wow that is a good value...Great Buy.”
Faridealtrader: “great buy, great sale”
CULLYSBRO: “Most expensive 912 sold on BAT! The Emory’s reputation is always a big lift.”
The $115,500 sale price for this 1968 Porsche 912 Emory Outlaw is more than twice the median price of $51,500 that the Sports Car Market Price Guide states as the value based on Auction Sales.
