Six Air-Cooled Porsche 911's for Sale
Six air-cooled Porsche 911’s will be going on auction starting Monday, October 26, 2020 during the Gooding & Company Geared Online Auction. The air-cooled Porsche 911’s will include three early-911 F-series 911, two G-Series 911 Carreras and one 993 Carrera.
A 1973 Porsche 911E 2.4 all original car is estimated to be the high Porsche seller with price of $175,000 -$225,000. It is Sepia Brown over Beige Leatherette with matching numbers per the COA. According to reports it has been maintained to Concours-quality standards.
The most affordable air-cooled Porsche at this auction should be the 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 estimated to sell for $50,000 -$60,000. Presented in classic Guards Red over black with the iconic whaletail. This car is a low mileage example.
These days it wouldn’t be a collector car auction without a Porsche 911 Carrera Speedster being offered. Gooding is presenting a triple-black 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Speedster estimated to sell in the range of $130,000 -$160,000.
The lone Porsche 993 Coupe for sale in the auction is estimated to sell at a significant price of $100,000 -$130,000. The strong price is based on the low mileage of 34,150 miles in a final year S-package well optioned in Black over Cashmere Beige.
A 1972 Porsche 911T 2.4 will be interesting to watch as it is offered in the custom paint job of Gold Metallic with a Weber Carburetor conversion. It is being offered at no-reserve with a sale estimate of $55,000 - $70,000. It is being noted as a candidate for a show-quality restoration or an Outlaw build.
The final air-cooled Porsche offered is an highly original 1973 Porsche 911T 2.4 in special order color of Leaf Green. It is estimated to sell in the range of $100,000 -$130,000. The car had one owner from 1973-2011 and is matching numbers.
