Porsche Classic Originale #05 Catalog Now Available

The fifth edition of the Porsche Classic catalog “ORIGINALE” is now available at Porsche dealerships. Porsche produces more than 52,000 Porsche Classic Genuine Parts . The Originale catalogs highlight a selection of the parts.

Since more than 70% of all Porsches ever built are still on the road today it is important for Porsche to support the owners with a full selection of parts for their classic air-cooled Porsches.

The catalog is more than a listing of parts, you will find histories and stories about productions and testing procedures that have led to a part’s history. In the case of this new fifth edition Porsche Classic shares the history of the fan cooling impeller for the 964 and 993 models of the 911 Porsches with Turbo engines.

It is interesting to note that Porsche Classic is actively trying to service Classic Porsche customers through a development process that includes feedback from customers as to what parts they need and cannot find. Porsche Classic has set up a landing page for air-cooled customers to contact Porsche with a part number and description so that Porsche can assist owners in sourcing the part. As a result of this feedback from customers, Porsche has returned multiple parts to production, which is now available to customers. Each year, more than 300 reissued parts and products are made available.

One resource for Classic Porsche parts is the Porsche Classic Parts Explorer that highlights products and reissued parts for each specific Porsche classic model.

It is interesting to note that Porsche Classic recognizes both air- and water-cooled Porsches up to the Porsche 911 996 through 2005, the Porsche Boxster through 2004 and the Porsche Carrera GT through 2006.

The Porsche Classic Catalog Originale #5 is now available from the Porsche Classic Partners and at authorized Porsche dealers. There are more than 37 key dealers around the world who serve as Classic Porsche Partners who help facilitate distribution of classic Porsche parts. There are approximately 14 Classic Porsche partners in North America. The closest to Air Brigade’s home base in the Southeast is Hennessey Porsche in Atlanta.
