Luft Wasser 2020 Porsche Celebration

The Third Annual Luft Wasser Porsche celebration bringing 200 Porsches together in Brevard, North Carolina is set for Saturday, April 25, 2020.

The Appalachian Region of the Porsche Club of America hosts Luft Wasser. Air Brigade Commander Jim Moore created Luft Wasser with the goal to bring Air-(Luft) and Water-(Wasser) Cooled Porsches together to celebrate the brand.

Luft Wasser gives a Porsche driver and their co-Pilot a complete day of driving, showing and socializing.

The day starts with a Mountain driving tour originating from one of six locations in North and South Carolina and Tennessee. All the tours meet up in Brevard where they stage for a 200 Porsche parade into town. The Police-led parade travels a mile into downtown Brevard where the 200 Porsches take over the Main Street of Brevard from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.

During the Main Street takeover, drivers and passengers enjoy all the Porsches, and the stores and restaurants of the quint mountain town of Brevard, North Carolina.

New for 2020 are charity partners and a new Luft Wasser Supercar After Party.

Registration for Luft Wasser opens February 22, 2020 at Luft-Wasser.com and will include a donation for registration. After expenses, funds will be donated to The Cindy Platt Boys and Girls Club of Transylvania County and Cops 4 Kids.

The new Luft Wasser Supercar After Party will occur after lunch with a short drive to a private, manicured 600-acre estate a short drive from Brevard. Participants will also be provided with a route map for an enjoyable one-hour drive through the mountains if they so wish. At the After Party there will be a display of Supercars through the decade starting in the ‘50’s with a Porsche Speedster through the present day with a 2020 McLaren 720 S. Supercars committed to the event includes the Porsche Speedster, a Ferrari 275, Ferrari Dino, Lamborghini Aventor, Ford GT, several McLarens. In total there will be approximately two dozen Supercars of all makes and models artfully arranged around the grounds of the estate.
