Air-Cooled Porsches for Sale Scottsdale Auctions 2021

This week is the traditional Scottsdale Collector Car Auctions. Typically the auctions are led by Barrett-Jackson’s massive auction but this year they decided to push their auction back to March 2021 for Covid safety precautions. The three other major auction houses have opted to do online only, a livestream with limited in-person attendance and a traditional auction.
The auctions will feature 10 air-cooled Porsches focused on collector quality cars ranging from a $50,000 Porsche 914 in a rare ice green metallic color up to a potential $600,000 1998 RUF Turbo R.
Bonhams
Bonhams’ Scottsdale Auction is being held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. Bonhams will feature two air-cooled Porsches The offerings include an affordable 1988 Porsche Carrera 3.2 Targa estimated to sell between $85,000 and $115,000 up to a quality 1958 Porsche 356A Speedster

Gooding & Company
The Gooding & Company Scottsdale Collector Car 2021 auction is an online auction starting Monday, January 18 and completing Friday, January 22, 2021. There will five Porsches going to auction with four of them being air-cooled Porsches. This includes one Porsche 356, one Porsche 913 and two Porsche 911. The most notable Porsche being sold is a 1957 Porsche 356A Speedster with a sales estimate of $275,000 -$350,000.

RM Sothebys
The RM Sotheby’s Auction is a Livestream Auction with limited attendance being held in Scottsdale on Friday, January 22, 2021. The auction features four significant collector grade air-cooled Porsches with the lowest estimated sale being a $200,000 to $250,0001992 Porsche 911 Carrera RS N/GT. The estimated high seller is forecast as the 1998 993 RUF Turbo R with an estimated sale between $525,000 and $575,000.
