Modified Air-Cooled Porsches Feature at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale 2021

Barrett-Jackson’s delayed Scottsdale 2021 Auction occurs from March 20-27, 2021 with 10 Air-Cooled Porsches scheduled to cross the Auction Block.

Air Brigade has identified five Porsches to watch at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale this year. The Air-Cooled Porsches on the auction block tend to be modified cars with a focus on Backdates and Restomods. The five to watch include a 1973 911E, 1973 911Slinger, a 1996 993 Turbo, a 1970 914-6,and a 1957 Speedster Replica. The first three are from the Larry Winkler Collection. The only non-modified Porsches in the 10 Air-Cooled Porsches for sale is the 1996 993 Turbo and a 1977 Porsche 911S Targa. The other eight Porsches all feature some degree of modification.


Modified Air-Cooled Porsches as opposed to perfect 100-point collector grade Porsches fit the profile of the buyers at Barrett-Jackson who favor restomods and performance.


The Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2021 is scheduled for March 20-27, 2021 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Here are the Air-Cooled Porsches for sale and will be auctioned at No Reserve, so they will sell.
