The Bring-A-Trailer online auction is one of the best sources for air-Cooled Porsche purchasing or window shopping.

  • Seller bought it in 2019

  • Miles: 102,000

  • Carfax: Clean

  • Options: Higher amperage battery, 16” wheels, cruise control, black headliner, front fog lights, tinted windshield, sunroof

  • Work performed under current owner:

  • New tires, an R134a air conditioning conversion, a rebuild of the 3.0-liter flat-six with a new timing chain, gears and Carrera tensioners

  • Modifications: MOMO Steering Wheel, Sony stereo, Bilstein shocks, upgraded head studs, a pop-off valve and a Turbo tie rod kit.

  • Comments: Overall it is receiving very positive comments; particularly the exterior Porsche RS look. The negatives primarily center around the interior lacking a period look with the Corbeau seats though it is agreed that they are comfortable and supportive.

  • Needs: Small chips in the paint, small indentation on the rear deckld and a faint scratch in the windshield.

Comments: Viewers love the color with the dark 17” cup wheels. Has a great stance.
