Targa Carolina 2019 - Classic Porsches in the Blue Ridge

Air Brigade visited Little Switzerand, NC on Friday, September 20, 2019 to view the start of Targa Carolina 2019. Targa Carolina is a private by-invitation Classic Porsche drive in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
All models of Classic Air-Cooled Porsches are participating including one lone Porsche 356, a Porsche Spyder, assorted Porsche 911's including early-911's, 911SC's, Carrera 3.2's, 964's, 912's and various air-cooled outlaws.
A total of 31 classic Porsches were present in the parking lot of the Switzerland Inn, a popular base for Porsche driving tours. The Porsches left in groups of 10 leaving via Chestnut Grove Road to Crab Creek Road and then using US-19 as a connector to pick up NC-80 up to Roan Mountain.
