Air Brigade visited Little Switzerand, NC on Friday, September 20, 2019 to view the start of Targa Carolina 2019. Targa Carolina is a private by-invitation Classic Porsche drive in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

All models of Classic Air-Cooled Porsches are participating including one lone Porsche 356, a Porsche Spyder, assorted Porsche 911's including early-911's, 911SC's, Carrera 3.2's, 964's, 912's and various air-cooled outlaws.

A total of 31 classic Porsches were present in the parking lot of the Switzerland Inn, a popular base for Porsche driving tours. The Porsches left in groups of 10 leaving via Chestnut Grove Road to Crab Creek Road and then using US-19 as a connector to pick up NC-80 up to Roan Mountain.

If you would like any of these photos in high resolution for no charge, Air Brigade just asks that you register for Air Brigade and commit to post your car in the online garage for members only.
