Two of a Kind Rare Color Porsche 356's in an Air Brigade Garage
Member Monday: Air Brigade member Mike, in North Carolina, enjoys two special Porsche 356 models: a 1958 Porsche 356A Speedster and a 1959 Porsche 356A Coupe. What a lovely collection of Porsche 356’s in Mike’s garage.
Mike first acquired his Porsche 356A Coupe in 1991. It wears a beautiful and semi-rare Meissen Blue coat of paint. The interior appears to be red leather. The PCA Rennbow color site lists this color as three paint cans on a scale of five with regards to rarity. As you can see from the photos this car is not just a garage Queen as it is photographed on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Once the Porsche 356 “bug” caught Mike he then acquired his 1958 Porsche 356A Speedster in 2000. This car is Stone Gray over a red leather interior with piping on the seats. Stone Gray is another rare 356 color rating four paint cans out of five highest rarity scale at the Rennbow paint site.
