Five "Affordable" Porsche 356's For Sale

When you consider affordable air-cooled Porsches, the Porsche 356 is generally considered unobtainable. In reality there are Porsche 356’s available under $100,000 if you don’t want a show car and are just looking for a nice driver quality 356.

In most cases you are going to be looking at a Porsche 356C Coupe though there is an occasional 356B as we found on Auto Trader Classics. The majority of the under $100,000 356’s are not numbers matching. In most cases they are drivers though of good quality.

As a point of reference, the Sports Car Market Price Guide lists the median prices for 356C Coupes as $75,000.

To consider a cab for under $100,000 you have to be ready for a major restoration. Air Brigade identified one unique color Royal Blue cab with the rare factory hardtop that requires a complete restoration. The Sports Car Market Price Guide lists a median price of $148,500 for a 356B Cabriolet. You’ll easily spend $100,000 to restore this model, but you’ll have a very unique 356 with the rare color and rare factory hardtop.
