 Event Organizer - Air Brigade

Jim Moore bought his first Porsche in 1998, a 1986 Porsche Carrera 3.2 that he still owns today.  Jim realized that he just wasn't driving and enjoying his Classic Porsche enough.  It was turning into a rolling garage sculpture.

In 2017 Jim started Air Brigade inviting 10 friends who had an assortment of air-cooled Porsches, including 356's, 911's, 912's and 914 to drive monthly around Asheville, North Carlolina.

Membership now exceeds 150 air-cooled Porsches with monthly drives from March through November.

In addition to Air Brigade, Jim is Events Chair for the Appalachian Region of Porsche Club of America.  Jim created and organizes Luft Wasser, a 200 Porsche spring gathering in Brevard, North Carolina.  Each year Jim develops and leads 4-5 drives for the Appalachian Region's members for both air- and water-cooled Porsches.

Jim's Porsche collection includes his 1986 Porsche Carrera 3.2, a 1973 Porsche 914 2.0 and a 2009 Porsche 911 Turbo.
