This car was born as a 1600 roadster but has a larger replacement engine from the same era. It was purchased in Kalamazoo, MI from the widow of the previous owner. He and friends had restored the car somewhat over 14 years. When purchased, it was Kelly Green over tan. I had it totally restored to Cardex-correct gray over red. The car is a "trailer queen".

This car was acquired about 10 years ago from a Florence, Ky school principal. It was a mess: 2x4's in the doors holding up the window regulators, smoked terribly, steering wheel wobbled horribly at 40 mph. This car was restored in Dayton by Bob Bennett as a "driver". It has a 1969 912 engine block with a big bore setup. Champagne Yellow over Black

Bought from a fellow PCA member in Maryland. Currently restoring all mechanics. Not a beauty queen, but will drive like it should very soon! Update- on the road! New Triad West exhaust is awesome!

This car belonged to my dad. I picked it up with him in June of 1958 at the San Francisco Embarcadero. It was resting dockside beside the freighter Gungedyke which transported it and another 356 to the USA. The cars were pitiful, covered in Creoline with no hub caps and no antennae. One car was for my dad and the other for dad's business partner. One was silver and the other was blue. They flipped a coin and my dad won the silver. We drove it home to Cotati, California where it resided until my dad'd death in 2001. I acquired the car in 2002 and had it restored by Metalkrafter's of Cincinnati. The car was restored to original condition.

Purchased in 2015 in Alamogordo, NM from an Army helicopter pilot. Lots of problems of a small nature. The driver door would not shut properly, the headlights did not work, the wipers did not work, etc. He explained to me that he never repaired these issues since it didn't rain in the desert, he didn't drive in the dark, and he only drove it occasionally. He had purchased it 2-3 years before in Denver. It had been sold to him by a recently widowed lady whose husband had restored it himself over about 8 years. I tried to contact her for more information, but she would not communicate. The car has correct engine and transmission. I drive it quite often. It is very presentable but nothing more than a "driver".

Benton Performance built engine and transmission. RS lightweight interior treatments. Flared fenders with 6" Fuchs and wider rubber in the rear. The car is lowered and sporting front and rear sway bars and Khonis all the way around. Weighing in just a 2k pounds, it'll scoot!
